The Water Quality Control Program (WQCP) continually provides environmental education to people of all ages in and around the Bishop Paiute Tribe.
The WQCP has led the Firstblooom program since 2009.
The WQCP regularly participates in the Tribe's Annual Earth Day event and organizes the Tribe's World Water Day event.
The Tribe's Adopt-A-Creek program was initiated by the WQCP and is now co-led by tribal youth from the Native American Student Association and the Bishop Paiute Tribal Youth Council. This program promotes keeping surface waters clean on the Reservation through preservation and protection of clean creeks.
