Manahüü, my name is Brianda Hernandez, the Water Quality Program Coordinator for the Bishop Paiute Tribe. I recently graduated from the Graduate Program of Hydrologic Science at the University of Nevada, Reno where I received a Master of Science degree in Hydrogeology. I am originally from Southern California but have been visiting and recreating in the Eastern Sierra, the lands of the Paiute, Shoshone, and Washoe peoples, for over a decade. I am excited to help manage and monitor the waters on the Reservation and learn from the community. I am proud to serve the people and traditional homelands of the Bishop Paiute Tribe.
Manahüü, my name is Sabrina Barlow, and I am the Water Quality Specialist for the Bishop Paiute Tribe. I have worked with the WQCP for almost two years since graduating from the University of Arizona with my Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and Geography. You may have seen me around the reservation collecting water samples, taking discharge measurements, or performing any field work that is aimed at improving the water quality on the Reservation. I am grateful for this opportunity to work with our waters and tribal community.
